At that time the Director, Andrew Gremley, already had extensive experience with building projects in the East Africa Region. We are committed to assisting in the development of the region by providing cost-effective projects that are sensitive to the needs of the users while maintaining high environmental standards.
Pharos Architects has recently merged with DFC and founder Jasraj Sehmi brings his extensive experience in the UK with Education, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, office buildings and Interior Fit-out projects.

Pharos Architects has achieved the first and only LEED certified (green) building in the East Africa region with the recent LEED Gold status awarded to the World Bank Office in Juba and expect the similar rating for the 19-story fit-out for the World Bank in Nairobi. We are committed to meeting our client’s expectation with responsible environmental design for optimizing safety, comfort, and operating costs. Pharos Architects has been operating in South Sudan since 2003 and maintains an office in Juba providing architectural services for NGO’s, government and the private sector. Our clients include the World Bank, EU, WFP, UNICEF and the Government of South Sudan.
